I have been away from Italy for some time but I didn't know there was a
land border between Italy and Turkey and that a wall was built in
between the two countries.

Suella actually saw that wall and I tend to believe her.

Why wasn't I informed? I feel offended!

Perhaps you should make a quick visit, lots can happen when you're away
for a while :-)

Too late, there was a great sea flood, the wall has gone. All down to
global warming I hear, or was it hot air?

Oh - and: while there is the usual level of childish amusement at Suella's
gaffe, it's worth reminding everyone that not so long ago, Turkey (in those
days, the Ottoman Empire) very nearly *did* have a border with Italy (or at
least, whatever statelet existed in north-east Italy at the time). The
Ottomans had pushed well north of Belgrade, nearly to Vienna.

Perhaps Suella visited the (almost) border during the heyday of the
Ottoman Empire.
Imagine how foolish all the people who mocked her are going to feel when
the truth is known.

No doubt her time as chair of the European Research Group involved
searching out such little known borders.

I use Firefox locked down with uBlock Origin and am not a subscriber.
Works well enough for me to read she has now done her geography
studies and had confused Italy for Greece. I had similar problems at
school when I sometimes struggled with whether a word was classical
Latin or Classical Greek. Fortunately I did not go on to become a
translator.

Probably Ublock Origin blocks the paywall.

Fact is that Spain attacked N Africa, but the Arabic Jews plan to
retaliate worked out well for N Africa. Spain was a shit hole before,
it was almost
as bad a your bastard race yukky yukraine. As is e Europe, not a single
positive contribution or
a history greater than 900 years.
So what does that make them.. a piece of genetic vermin bastard to
animal shit inferiority that will soon be nuked,
then hunted down no matter how far related. Same goes for your entire

Do you remember the Palaver about Trieste to-in and fro-in, One day it was
in Yugoslavia and next day it was in Italy.
